Privacy Policy
How neurostpete.com collects, uses, and protects your information.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Neuroplasticity St. Pete (“we,” “us,” or “the practice”) collects and uses information through neurostpete.com. It applies to this website only. Clinical records, patient data, and information exchanged within the context of care are governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to patients at the start of treatment and is available from the practice on request.
This website is a marketing and informational site. Information submitted through a contact or booking form is not treated as a protected health record under HIPAA until a patient-provider relationship is formally established.
What this site
collects and how.
This website collects information in two ways: directly, when you choose to provide it, and automatically, through standard web server and analytics processes.
Information is used
to respond and improve.
Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry, confirm your consultation, and provide the care you came here for. Analytics data is used to understand how the site is performing and where it can be improved. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
This site is not directed
to children under 13.
Neuroplasticity St. Pete does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not solicit information from them. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us immediately at hello@neurostpete.com so we can remove it.
Browser privacy signals
and how we respond.
Some browsers and devices transmit a Do Not Track (DNT) signal indicating a preference not to be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted technical standard for responding to DNT signals, and this site does not alter its data collection practices based on DNT browser settings. We are committed to minimizing data collection regardless of this signal.
We keep data
only as long as needed.
Contact and inquiry information submitted through this site is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law, professional obligation, or legitimate business need. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the default retention settings of our analytics platform. When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to dispose of it securely.
Reasonable measures to protect
what you submit.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information submitted through this site from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we will notify affected individuals within 30 days of determining that a breach has occurred, in accordance with the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA, § 501.171, Fla. Stat.). If the breach affects 500 or more Florida residents, we will also notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs. Where a breach involves sensitive financial information affecting 1,000 or more residents, we will additionally notify nationwide consumer credit reporting agencies as required by law.
Services this site
connects to.
This website integrates with the following third-party platforms. Each operates under its own privacy policy and data security practices, which govern how they handle your data independently of this policy.
Your health information
is protected separately.
Neuroplasticity St. Pete is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Health information you share in the context of clinical care — whether with Dr. Silver, Dr. Leo, or Joanne Muir — is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this website privacy policy. That notice is provided to you at the start of care and is available from the practice on request.
You can request, correct,
or delete your data.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you submitted through this website, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion of your information from our systems where legally permissible.
