What this site is
and what it is not.

The content on neurostpete.com describes the clinical disciplines, diagnostic approaches, and treatment methods practiced at Neuroplasticity St. Pete. It is written to give prospective and current patients a thorough, honest understanding of what care here involves — the science behind it, who delivers it, and what to expect.

It is not clinical advice. Reading this website does not constitute a consultation, and nothing here should be used to diagnose a condition, evaluate a symptom, or make a treatment decision without direct examination by a qualified practitioner. No patient-provider relationship is established by accessing or using this website. That relationship begins with a formal consultation.

The most useful thing this site can do is give you enough to know whether a conversation with one of our practitioners is worth having.

Licensed clinicians.
Every case examined directly.

The care at Neuroplasticity St. Pete is delivered by licensed practitioners who examine each patient individually before any clinical decision is made. The information on this website describes how they work — it does not replace that process.

Reading a page on this site does not establish a patient-provider relationship between you and any practitioner at this practice. That relationship begins with a formal consultation.

Outcomes are personal.
Every case is different.

Patient testimonials and clinical descriptions on this site reflect genuine individual experiences. They are shared because they are real, not because they represent a typical outcome or a guarantee of results for any patient.

Health outcomes depend on the specific condition, its history, how the body responds to care, and many other factors that vary from person to person. Individual results may vary.

FTC Disclosure. Patient testimonials appearing on this website reflect the genuine experience of that individual. They are not compensated endorsements. In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255, as updated 2023), we disclose that results described in testimonials are not typical and individual outcomes may differ significantly.

CBCT imaging involves
ionizing radiation.

Neuroplasticity St. Pete uses cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging as part of upper cervical assessment for clinically indicated cases. CBCT is a radiographic procedure that involves exposure to ionizing radiation. As with all diagnostic imaging, clinical justification is required before any study is ordered.

Dr. Silver evaluates each case individually before recommending CBCT, and the decision to proceed is made collaboratively with the patient based on clinical need and an individual benefit-risk consideration. Patients with questions about whether CBCT imaging is appropriate for their case should discuss this directly with Dr. Silver before scheduling.

Evidence is referenced
where it exists.

Where peer-reviewed research is cited on this site — for acupuncture mechanisms, CBCT dosimetry, photobiomodulation pathways, or extracorporeal shockwave therapy — links are provided to the original sources. The presence of a citation does not imply that results described in that research will apply to your situation. Medical research describes populations; clinical care addresses individuals.

If you have questions about the evidence behind a specific treatment, the practitioners here are glad to discuss it directly.

If something is time-sensitive,
this is not the resource.

This website is not appropriate for urgent, emergency, or acute medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use this site to guide decisions where time is a factor.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm, free and confidential support is available around the clock:

For non-urgent questions about whether care at Neuroplasticity St. Pete is right for your situation, the most direct path is a consultation.

Questions are better answered
