The Intensive is structured as a complete care package rather than a single service. Each day blends the modalities Dr. Silver determines are clinically indicated for your case, and the entire program is included under one flat fee. Below is what is built into every Intensive week, before any additional adjuncts are added based on your specific presentation.

The Clinical Case
Neuroplasticity responds to frequency. When a patient receives neurological rehabilitation once a week, the brain encounters a stimulus, begins to adapt, and then has six days before the next session arrives. Meaningful change happens slowly in that model, and for patients with complex presentations it can be a difficult pace to sustain.
The Intensive was built around a different understanding of how rehabilitation operates. Concentrated training sessions delivered across consecutive days allow adaptive responses to build on each other rather than partially dissipate between sessions. By delivering precise neurological stimulation across four consecutive days, the adaptive response compounds progressively. The brain receives a clear, repeated signal about what it is being asked to do, and it adapts accordingly, often reaching within a single week a level of change that would otherwise require significantly more time.
Every session is one hour of direct neurological rehabilitation with Dr. Silver, followed immediately by the Neuro Boost protocol. The program is customized to your examination findings on arrival and adjusted each day based on how your nervous system is responding.

The Neuro Boost Protocol
Each daily session concludes with the Neuro Boost program, a sequence of supportive devices applied immediately after the rehabilitation work. The protocol uses photobiomodulation, PEMF, and related modalities aimed at supporting cellular recovery and helping the nervous system consolidate the patterns being retrained. It is built into every day of the Intensive at no additional charge.

The Practitioner
Dr. Silver has completed 112 Intensives personally.
During his three-year neurology residency at Imagine X Functional Neurology in Santa Barbara, Dr. Silver completed 112 Intensive programs working alongside Dr. Adam Harcourt. The patient population included complex cases involving concussion, dizziness, neuropathy, and chronic migraine. It is where he developed the clinical fluency that makes the Intensive format work.
After returning to St. Petersburg, Dr. Silver developed Upper Cervical Neurology as a formal diagnostic and treatment system that is now taught internationally. He also developed the analysis software and 3D-printed instruments used in the Advanced Orthogonal technique, tools now used by practitioners in the field. The Intensive at Neuroplasticity St. Pete is the fullest expression of that training, drawing from every modality he has studied, refined, and practiced over his career.

Do I need to be an existing patient to book an Intensive?
The Intensive is specifically designed for patients traveling from outside St. Petersburg who cannot maintain an ongoing care schedule here. A brief phone consultation with Dr. Silver before booking ensures the format is appropriate for your presentation.
Where should I stay during the Intensive week?
St. Petersburg has options across every price point, from boutique hotels downtown to vacation rentals near the waterfront. Sessions run approximately one hour per day, leaving the rest of each day to rest and explore. We are happy to share recommendations for neighborhoods convenient to our clinic.
How much improvement can I expect in four days?
This varies by case and condition. The concentrated daily input consistently produces measurable neurological changes, which Dr. Silver documents at the end of the week. Most patients leave with a clear, objective picture of what shifted and a home program designed to build on that progress.
What happens after I return home?
Follow-up calls are included in the program. Dr. Silver checks in after your return to review your progress, answer questions about your home exercise program, and advise on next steps. If you visit St. Petersburg again, a follow-up Intensive is always an option.
Is the $2,000 fee all-inclusive?
Yes. The fee covers all four sessions, all modalities used during those sessions, the Neuro Boost protocol each day, your home program design, and post-Intensive follow-up calls. There are no additional fees.
Can I combine the Intensive with other services at the clinic?
Yes. Many Intensive patients also book sessions with Dr. Leo for acupuncture or Joanne for bodywork during their week. These are scheduled separately at standard session rates. If you would like to build a fuller week of integrated care, we are glad to help with that planning.
